BOUNTIFUL—Charles William Parkin, age 87, died March 27, 1991. He was born July 28, 1903 in Woods Cross, to George and Jessie Mann Parkin. He married Rose Dora Goodman in 1934 in Randolph.

He belong to the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Kemmerer, Wyo., and was a member of the Bountiful Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife Rose and daughter Clara Remigi, both of Bountiful; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren ; sisters, Mrs. Arch (Jessie) Boulton, Woods Cross; Lavinia Lombard, Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Wayne (Peggy) Dixon, Green River, Wyo.; Blanche Aston, Ore.; brothers, Wallace Parkin, Springs City; Griffin Parkin, Buffalo, Wyo.; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Guy; brothers, Kimball M. and Harold, and a brother, Raymond, who died just one day before him.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 30, at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary chapel, 295 N. Main, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment: Bountiful City Cemetery.
