Born in Pleasant Grove, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Ruth F. Spence. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Lewis C. Stewart, Sr.; her son, Lewis Clifton Stewart, Jr.; and her grandson, Ryan Paul Hatch. She was an active member of Lake Drummond Baptist Church, and Chapter 155 of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her loving children, Milton Stewart (Judy Sue) and Judy Stewart Hatch (Gary); seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris, Helen, Jane, and Norma.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday, July 7, 2017 at Lake Drummond Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Following the interment, the family will receive friends in the church social hall.
