Gloria L "Gaddin" Ford, age 90, of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday morning, June 27, 2017 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman. She was born March 29, 1927 in Farmersville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Elmer and Florence (Reno) Helterbrand Lynn. She is survived by two children both of Hillsboro; her "#2 son" of Idaho, Ohio; four grandchildren; and two sisters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lafay O. Ford; two brothers, Clarence Eugene "Gene" Helterbrand and Billy Wallace "Bill" Helterbrand; and a sister, Mildred "Midge" Turner. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Lisa and Rhonda and all the girls at Hospice of Hope for their excellent care.
