Mrs. W.H. Schweppe

Mrs. Emily W. Schweppe, 91, mother of Mrs. E. Dale Adkins Jr. of Camden Ave. Ext., died Friday in the Spring Hill Sanitarium, Inc. after a long illness.

She was born in Dayton, O., and was a daughter of the late Abram and Ella Bickham Wilt.

Mrs. Schweppe's husband, William H. Schweppe, died in 1961. The couple moved to Salisbury about 12 years ago and lived on Druid Hill Ave.

Surviving, in addition to Mrs. Adkins, are a son, Denison W. Schweppe, Long Island, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Jerome B. Thomas, Palo Alto, Calif.

A memorial service for Mrs. Schweppe will be held in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Adkins today at 2 p.m. Dr. Robert P. Varley, rector of the St. Peter's Episcopal Church, will conduct the service.
