Frederick "Freddy" W. Haglage was born January 13, 1895 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio to Ida M. Albrecht Stauber Haglage and her second husband, Frederick B. Haglage. Fred, or Freddy, had four siblings and five half siblings. Did Fred ever marry? He had brown hair and grey eyes and was of medium build. He was especially close to his half sister Josephine C. Stauber Thiemann. In 1900 Fred lived with his mother and siblings on Colerain Avenue. In 1910 the family lived on Klotter. In 1917 he lived on West McMicken and had a job as an ice man. In 1920 he lived with his half sister Josephine and her family at 1541 Groesbeck Road and worked as a shoemaker, perhaps with his brother-in-law George Schock. Fred died at age 34 on April 16, 1929 in Cincinnati and is buried in Vine Street Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati where his parents are buried. What was his cause of death?
