Robert, of Lansing, MI. passed away, June 27, 2017, the son of Peter and Helen (Fernholz) Gensterblum.

Robert retired from General Motors. He was a great sports fan and participated in many.

Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Richard, Leon, Alvin, Paul and Larry Gensterblum; sisters, Lucille Redman, Bernita, Virginia Shimp, Elizabeth Huhn and Geraldine Hodge; several sisters and brothers in law.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary; children, Kaye (Glen) Wilcox, Kurt Gensterblum and Kristin (Javier) Lozano; grandchildren, Karl and Sean Wilcox, Nat and Marlie Lozano; siblings, Sr. Bernita Marie SSJ, Mary Louise (William) Hanses, Eleanor (Bud) Peake, Dolores Houser, Barb (Leon) Densmore and Jim (Louise) Gensterblum.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service was held at a later date.

The family is being served by the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Delta Chapel.
