Geraldine June Foster, 90, of Lafayette, passed away at 1:10 a.m., Sunday, June 26, 2017 at her residence.

Born on January 3, 1927 in Francesville, she was the daughter of the late David and Ida (Gant) Timmons.

Her marriage was to William E. Foster on June 16, 1951 in West Lafayette. He preceded her in death on December 1, 2015.

Geraldine was a proud homemaker and a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking and tending to her roses. She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters; one sister; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death with her parents and husband is a daughter, Mary I. Garvin; 2 brothers, Wayne and Everett Timmons; and 6 sisters, Valera Grishaber, Averil Eldridge, Ruth Church, Mae Kenworthy, Irene Berlin and Maxine Roberts.
