Americus Woman Dies.
Mrs. Anna McMillan, 83, died Tuesday at her home in Americus. Mrs. McMillan had been sick for several months. Funeral services Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. W.D. McMullen, pastor o the Free Methodist church in Emporia, will conduct the services.

Americus, June 23.-Funeral services for Mrs. Anna McMillan, 83, who died here last week were held Friday afternoon. Rev. W.D. Penn, Frank Andrews, Charles Lecher, Americus; C.B. Dessler, Emporia, and Earl McAuley, Council Grove.
Mrs. McMillan's maiden name was Anna Robinson. She was born in Augh-Na-Clay, Tyrone county, Ireland [Northern Ireland], March 16, 1847. She came with her parents to the United States in the winter of 1852, settling near LaFayette, Ind. She married S.G. McMillan March 27, 1865 in Danville, Ill., and they lived at Roanoke, Ind. until December 1866 when they moved to Cadiz, Ohio. They came to Americus in November, 1876 where they lived on a farm until 1877, when they moved to town. Mrs. McMillan had lived in Americus 54 years.
Mrs. McMillan was the mother of three children, two of whom, Mollie B. and Clarence C. preceded her in death. She is survived by one son, Edward J. McMillan who is on the home place. She is also survived by one stepson, Robert, of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and four grandchildren: Mrs. Earl Dyer, of Americus; Mrs. Iva Barncord, Kansas city, Mo., Mrs. Gladys Humphries, Kansas City, Mo., and Edna McMillan, Americus. Mr. McMillan died in October, 1912.
