The McMillan Funeral This Afternoon
Funeral services for Edward James McMillian will be held from the Methodist church this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The services will be in charge of Rev. Gene Frank. Burial will be made in Americus cemetery.
Edward McMillan died Sunday night following a paralytic stroke the previous Wednesday. Mr. McMillan has not been in very good health for several years, and while sitting in a chair at his home was the victim of a stroke of paralysis.
Edward James McMillan, son of Mr. and Mrs. S.G. McMillan was born at Cadiez, Ohio, November 27, 1870. He moved to Americus with his parents while a young man and lived here until his death. He was 64 years, 6 months, and 1 day old.
He is survived by his wife, daughter, Edna, step-son, Wilson Brown, and a daughter of a former marriage, Mrs. Iva Barncourt, Kansas City, Mo.
