Janie Isabell Knight Howard, 72, widow of Cecil Frank Howard, died Friday, June 9, 2017, at her home.
Mrs. Howard was born April 30, 1945, in Andrews, SC. She was a daughter of William P. Knight and Winnie Haselden Knight.
She was a member of Piney Forest Baptist Church.
She was survived by three children, Joey (Jonie) Howard, Barbara (Freddie) Cannon, and Jimmy (Lesley) Howard; her only granddaughter, Kelli (Cecil) Lockliear; four grandsons, Lee Cannon, Kyle (Chasity) Howard, John Taylor Blakely and Brett Howard; two great-grandsons, Cannon Lockliear and Keegan Wildes; her only great-granddaughter, Kalianna Lockliear; three sisters, Sybil K. Brooks, Patsy K. Cox, and Cynthia K. (Carl) Hardee; a very special friend, Willie Roland Browder; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Sylvia Knight and Iris Newton; and three brothers, William Knight, Wallace "Buddy" Knight, and Earl Knight.
Funeral services were Monday, June 12, 2017. in Piney Forest Baptist Church. The Rev. Eddy Knight and the Rev. Mark Howard officiated. Burial, directed by the Andrews Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home, followed in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
