Ilo Ann Corless
December 8, 1934 – May 27, 2017

Ilo Ann Rogers Corless passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 27, 2017. Ilo was born in her family home in Lewiston, Utah on December 8, 1934 to Verlin Dell Rogers and Nora Leona Coates. She was the youngest of four children. She was raised in Lewiston and graduated from North Cache High School in 1953. After graduation, she moved to Salt Lake City to attend LDS Business College. In her life, Ilo had several different jobs including working for the phone company, being a bakery manager and many years as a secretary for a blueprint company. However her favorite job was being a mother, not only to her own children but also to others. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings, but loved being a Primary Teacher the most.

Ilo married Frank R. Corless on September 27, 1963 in the Logan Temple. Together they raised four children, Jeff (Jerri Lynn) Corless, Tricia (Jeff) Treseder, Tim (Kristi) Corless and Jared (Delia) Corless. Ilo and Frank lived in Salt Lake City, Utah until they retired and moved to Ilo's childhood home in Lewiston, Utah. They later moved to Roy, Utah to be closer to their 11 grandchildren that they adored. Ilo and Frank had a wonderful life together full of love and friendship. After almost 49 years of marriage, Frank passed away in 2012.

Ilo is survived by: her four children and their spouses, her 11 grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Helen Rogers and Elna Johnson, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: the love of her life, Frank, her parents, her two sisters, Leona Gregg, Doreen Johnson and her brother, Marlon Rogers.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to: Tiffanie and Brooke and the rest of the hospice team at Rocky Mountain Hospice, Mount Ogden Care Center and Dr. A. Brett Morrill.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 11:00 am in the Roy West Park Ward, 4524 South 2525 West, Roy, Utah. Friends may visit with family on Friday, June 2, 2017, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Myers Roy Mortuary 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah and prior to services at the church on Saturday from 9:40 – 10:40 a.m. Interment Roy City Cemetery, 5200 South 2300 West, Roy, Utah.
