Mrs. Henry (Catherine) Kersbergen passed away unexpectedly at her home, 209 Oskaloosa St., on Nov. 9, 1946, at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 7 days. She was the daughter of Christiaan Wichhart and Marie Koke. She was born in the Netherlands on Febuary 2, 1877.
She was united in marriage to Henry Kersbergen on Nov. 17, 1901. Th this unions five children were born. She was preceded in death by two sons, Bert in 1925 and a son who died in infancy.
She is survived by her husband, three sons, Chris of Hartwick, Ia., Roy of Los Angeles., Calif., Murray of Des Moines, Ia., and seven grandchildren. She also leaves one brother Jake Wichhart, Ft. Wayne, Ind., and three sisters, Mrs. James Royce, Des Moines, Mrs. Albert Wichhart, Fairfield, Ia., Mrs. Jake Schakel, Long Beach, Calif.
Funeral services were held on Tues., Nov. 12, 1946, at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Reformed Church, Rev. S. Vroon officiating. Interment was in Oakwood cementery.
