Chris W. Kersbergen, aged 47 years, died Wednesday morning, March 10th, at Callender, Iowa.
Mr. Kersbergen had been two years in Callender as superintendent of schools and had been twenty-six years a teacher. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kersbergen and a graduate of Central College. Cancer was the cause of his death.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter and two sons, his father Henry Kersbergen and two brothers, Roy and Murray.
The body was brought to Pella, Wednesday by John Van Dyk and funeral services will be held here Saturday, March 13th at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Reformed Church, Reverand Ernest Larson of Callender in charge of the services. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Chris Kersbergen was well known in Pella and his death is cause for great regret.
