PETER ASNICAR
Peter Asnicar, 82, of 2208 Marin St., died Tuesday at the Pine Breeze Nursing Home in Angwin. Mr. Asnicar was born in Recoaro, Italy in 1894. He was disabled most of his life but was a self-employed gardener for his family and friends.
He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
Five nieces and two nephews also survive: Marie Toone, Napa; Rosemary Tadlock. Simi Valley; Eugene and Sam Asnicar, both of Vallejo; George Vitali and Marge Berkholt, both of Martinez, and Mae Blair of Rio Linda.
Friends are invited to meet at the Claffey and Rota Funeral Home at 9: 45 Monday, thence to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church where a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Interment will be in St. Vincent's Catholic Cemetery in Vallejo.
