Orilla Branton Thompson, age 90, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017.

Mrs. Thompson was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Lemuel Onen and Cora Orilla Cook Todd.

She was the oldest living member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Mrs. Thompson was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She retired from Loris Hospital after 25 years as a Nursing Assistant.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thompson was predeceased by her first husband, Ivey L. Branton; her second husband, Neal Thompson; three brothers, Talmadge Todd, Earlie Todd, and J. R. Todd; and five sisters, Vera Causey, Estelle Todd, Susie Mae Prince, Annie Lee Lanier, and Mary Lou Paul.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis Branton (Linda) of Niceville, FL, and Bryan Branton (Pam) of Loris; two daughters, Fran Craymer (Paul) of Montgomery, AL, and Betty Courtney of Loris; seven grandchildren, Kevin Branton, Keith Branton, Mark Craymer (Mindy), Karen Fuqua (Josh), Michael Campbell (Kelly), Missy Huss (Will), and Paula Parnell (Chad); and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Caines officiating. Burial will follow in the Twin City Memorial Gardens
