MOHR, Earl Henry Passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Stratford General Hospital, Stratford with his loving family by his side. Earl resided at R.R. # 2 Tavistock and was formerly of North Easthope Township. He was born 86 years ago in North Easthope Township and was the son of the late Milton and Matilda (Dahmer) Mohr. Beloved husband of Delores (Schwartzentruber) Mohr who he married December 1, 1989. Loving dad of Betty Ann Mohr (Gary Privatt) of Kitchener, Colleen Wake (Dean) of New Hamburg, Marilyn MacLeod (Jerry) of Temagami, Dianne Hartzke (Gary) of Kenabeek, Robert Zehr of New Hamburg, Krista Zehr (Jim) of Tavistock, Rob Waas (Jeanne) of Grand Bend, Heidi Sullivan (Patrick) of Stratford. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Liam and Shyla Wake and a number of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Dear brother of George Mohr of New Hamburg. Remembered by a number of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Earl was predeceased by his first wife Norma (Bender) Mohr (1982), sisters Buelah Kaufman (Henry), Vera Pidoux (James), brothers Ivan Mohr (Elaine), Harold Mohr (Hilda). Earl attended Tavistock Mennonite Church and the former Oetzel United Church. He had been a member of the North Easthope Tractor Club. Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street New Hamburg on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Tavistock Mennonite Church (131 Wettlaufer Street, Tavistock) with Pastor Jim Brown officiating. Interment to follow in the 16th Line East Zorra Mennonite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee or the charity of one's choice.
