Obituary for George William Mohr
Passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at his residence, Nithview Community, New Hamburg, surrounded by his loving family. George was born 93 years ago on October 1, 1925 and was a son of the late Milton & Matilda (Dahmer) Mohr.
George will be forever remembered by his sister-in-law Delores Mohr and he will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends. George was the last remaining sibling and is now reunited with his sisters Beulah Kaufman (Henry), Vera Pidoux (James), his brothers; Ivan (Elaine), Harold (Hilda), Earl (Norma) and by his niece and nephew who all predeceased him.
George was a member of the former Oetzel Evangelical United Church and later attended West Hills Fellowship. George farmed in North Easthope Township all his life until his retirement in 1996. After retirement George moved to New Hamburg and later moved to the Nithview Community.
Family and friends are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Pastor Harold Shantz to officiate. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Nithview Community (Cheques Accepted).
