Religious services at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New Roads at 11 a.m. Tuesday conducted by the Rev. Peter Bergeron, LaPlace. Entombment in False River Memorial Mausoleum, New Roads. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Howard J. Alexander, Sr., Jarreau; a son Howard J. Alexander, Jr., Jarreau; a daughter, Mrs. Lester Fabre, Port Allen; two sisters, Mrs. W. W. Carnes, Crowley and Ida Alexander, Pineville; three brothers, Ira Alexander, Arabi, Earl Alexander, Plaquemine, Richard Alexander, Port Allen; five grandchildren.
