Body at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, from 3 to 11 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Burial in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Brusly. Survived by two sisters, Mrs. W.W. (Irene) Carnes, Crowley and Miss Ida Alexander, Alexandria; a brother Ira Alexander, Hammond; and a number of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Richard Alexander and his mother Ida LeBlanc Alexander; three brothers, Ward, Richard, and Howard Alexander.
