She was born October 25, 1932, in Petersburg, Illinois, Nora married Donald R. Tippett on August 7, 1950, in Corinth, Mississippi.
Nora was a member of Foursquare Church of DeKalb.
She is survived by two sons, David Tippett of Rochelle, Donald Tippett of DeKalb; daughter, Rebecca Seehaver of Alamo, Texas; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 2011; three brothers, and seven sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 8 at Foursquare Church of DeKalb, 210 Grove Street with the Rev. Dennis Campbell officiating. Interment of cremated remains will be at a later date at Mount Auburn Memorial Park in Stickney, Illinois.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
