James Bullock a farmer was the third child of Knight & Ann Bullock Dalby. He married Sarah Huffman in Bedford Co, Tennessee. They moved to Morris Co, Texas in 1849 and obtained a headright survey of 320 acres about nine miles south of what is now the town of Daingerfield. James & Sarah lived there the rest of their lives They are buried in the Old Homestead Cemetery located on what is now Lone Star Steel Company property. He was a farmer. He and his wife had the following children: (1)Hayden Dalby 1837/1915 (2)Thomas Dalby (3)Crawford Dalby (4)Hollis Dalby (5)R W "Whit" Dalby (6)Archibald Dalby (7) Gordentia "Buster" Dalby 1858/1943(from THE DALBYS OF NORTHEAST TEXAS by Norman Leonard Dalby)
