Martin, Elmer ~ Passed away peacefully at his home in Parkwood Suites, Waterloo, on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at the age of 89 years. Elmer Martin was predeceased by his first wife Alice (Henrich) Martin (2005) and his second wife Kathryn (Juhasz) Martin (2015). Lovingly remembered by his son Larry and Karen Martin, daughter Connie and Jurgen Wollschlager, grandchildren Kevin and Katelyn Martin, Mike Martin, Heather Niessen, and Nathan Johnson, great-grandchildren Riley Martin, Grayson and Chelsea Niessen, and sister-in-law Violet Martin. Predeceased by his parents Rufus and Ada (Hunsberger) Martin and brother Lloyd Martin. Elmer was retired from Kraemer Woodcraft and a member of Calvary United Church in St. Jacobs. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at 11 a.m., with reception to follow, at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation may be made as expressions of sympathy.
