WEST VALLEY CITY--Blessed peace at last. Shirley Webb Bigler, age 79, moved onward on April 10, 1999. She was a loving, devoted wife; a gentle, caring mother; a sweet, tender grandmother; and a proud great-grandmother.

Born August 19, 1919, in Salt Lake City to Frank Edward and Florence Hepburn Webb. Attended South High School and the University of Utah. Served in many capacities in the LDS Church, including 50 years in the Primary. She leaves her family and friends with a legacy of honesty and decency. Her kindness and compassion, along with friendliness and cheerfulness, made her a genuine joy to be near. Her life has been one of devotion to her family and her Heavenly Father and service to her friends, family and church.

Survived by her husband, Paul; children, David Larson, Paul Larson, Frank (Linda) Larson, Jeanne (Ray) Gillett, Cathleen (George) Kelner, Kim (Laurel) Bigler; Lance (JoAnn) Bigler; 17 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Don (Charmain) Webb, Dail (Harriet) Webb, Collin (Carol) Webb, Lynn (Ginny) Webb, and Juel Watts.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 12 noon, at Hunter 11th Ward, 5000 West Jeanette (3965 South). Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Wednesday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
