BOUNTIFUL- Dail was born June 25, 1921 at home in Salt Lake City, Utah to Frank and Florence Webb. He died unexpectedly, Sunday, July 23, 2006 at the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City.
He married Harriett Heath in the Salt Lake City Temple August 4, 1942. He served in the Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1945 in Europe during World War II.
They lived and raised their five children, Taunie (Tom) McLachlan, Ken (Kolene) Webb, Allen (Debbie) Webb, Marci (Dave) Godfrey, Marilyn (Adrian) Jackman in Bountiful, and now have 26 grandchildren plus 43 great-grand-children.
Survived by his wife, children, two brothers and one sister. His parents, two sisters, one brother and two infant grandchildren preceded him in death.
He loved life, lived it to the fullest and always showed his gratitude. He enjoyed fun trips and activities spent with family and friends; including hunting, snowmobiling, water skiing, boating, camping, river running, motorcycling and volleyball.
With his eternal companion he served two LDS missions, one in Pennsylvania Pittsburgh and one in the New Zealand Temple. His greatest desire was to share his fervent testimony that "Jesus is the Son of God and that He was crucified for the sins of the world".
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 27, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the Val Verda 9th Ward Chapel, 3317 South 800 West, Bountiful, where friends and family may call Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Thursday morning from 11:30-12:30 p.m. prior to services.
