Betty Lucille Nightingale 94 of Medaryville, passed away on April 15, 2017 at the Parkview Haven Care Center in Francesville, with her loving family by her side.  Born on February 26, 1923 in Monon, Indiana to the late Isaac (Emma) Banes.  Betty was a homemaker, and was married to John Nightingale on August 30, 1948 in Benton Harbor, Michigan who survives.  Betty was a member of the Medaryville Assembly of God Church.  Betty was a true devoted woman of God, and a selfless homemaker.  She enjoyed canning, sewing, and harvesting fruits and vegetables, she loved helping others and anyone who entered her home.  She was preceded in death by her parents, son; John W. Nightingale Jr "Sonny", great grandson; Junior, siblings; Estelle, Edna, Ray, Wilbur, William, Donald, Bert, and Ralph.  She is survived by her loving husband John of 68 years, children; Donna Hendershot of Missouri, Sandra Baker of Missouri, Isaac E. (Mona) Nightingale of Monon, Rosetta Nightingale of Indianapolis, and Sherrie Hauptli of Medaryville, as well as 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, and 1 great great great grandchild
