Richard P. Allen, 81, of Johnstown, NY, passed into the arms of Jesus on April 10, 2017, at the Fulton Center for Rehabilitation.
Richard was born Nov. 21, 1935, to the late Frank Allen and Rose Hesek Allen. He then went on to marry his wife, Adrienne Sitterly Allen, on January 8, 1959.
Richard was employed for many years at the former Baronet-Litho in Johnstown, NY. He attended and spoke at the Mayfield Community Church.
Richard leaves behind not only his wife, but also his beloved daughters, Dr. Lynn M. Allen (David Sheedy), Lisa A. Allen; beloved son, Glenn J. Allen (Sheila Blowers); and precious granddaughter, Amy A. Thomas (Brad Thomas). He also leaves behind his brothers, Jack Allen (Joan), Raymond (Fay) and Thomas Allen; as well as his sister-in-law, Mary Hladik Allen, Paula Palcovic Allen; nieces; and canine pal, Roxy Joy Allen.
An interment will be at the Ephratah Rural Cemetery.
