COTTAGE GROVE - A funeral will be held at noon Friday, Jan. 26, at Riverside Community Church of God in Cottage Grove for Shirley Ann Black of Cottage Grove, who died Jan. 18 in an auto accident. She was 68.

She was born July 22, 1938, in Snyder, Okla., to Burell and Lilly Swanger Echols. She married Haskel Black in Antlers, Okla., on Feb. 25, 1955.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Brenda Inman of Elmira and Glenda Ledgerwood of Hillsboro; a son, Terry of Cottage Grove; a brother, Glenn Echols of Dyer, Tenn.; and 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove. Burial will be at Comstock Cemetery in Curtin. Remembrances to Oregon Health & Science University for fibromyalgia research.
