James Earl Corley Sr., 76 years old, born January 13, 1941 in Smithers, West Virginia and passed away on April 5, 2017. The family will receive friends on April 8, 2017 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Prattville Memorial Chapel with Minister Ruby Beck. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens. Mr. Corley was preceded in death by his parents, Denver Page Corley & Mary Louise Garrett. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Maria Corley; 2 children, James Earl Corley Jr & MaryAnn Gay and spouses; brother, Denver Lee Corley; grandchildren: Alysia Mitchell & spouse, James Earl III MD, Natasha McCaleb CPA & spouse, Mitchell Corley, Rachel Corley; great grandchildren, Ty Mitchell, Hayden Mitchell, Sophia Mitchell; numerous extended family & families. Mr. Corley served & retired in the Air Force with over 20 years of active duty service and retired from the AL Dept. of Transportation. He was active in the Masonic organization, Blue Knights, Patriot Guard Riders and supports many other civic organizations. He will be missed dearly by all.
