Helen Frances Cline, of Newton, AL passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the age of 93.

She was born in Eutaw, AL., on December 22, 1923.

She was preceded in death by her husband, E.E. “Gene” Cline; brothers Louis “Brother,” Frank, and Jim; sisters Lucille, Thelma “Bo”, and Louise.

Helen is survived by her loving son Stanley, her brothers, Joe Adcock and Rufus Adcock; sisters, Ruby “Bet” Terry and Barbara Jacobs; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous cherished nieces and nephews.

As an Air Force wife, she travelled across the country, living in Florida, California, Utah, and Massachusetts.

As an advocate for children, she will always be remembered for her tireless efforts in fundraising to support athletics and education for the children of Newton, AL.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2017, from 12:30 P.M. to 2 P.M. at Ward Wilson Funeral Home in Dothan, AL.

A service will be held at Ward Wilson at 2 P.M. with burial immediately following at Ozark Woodlawn Memory Gardens in Ozark, AL.
