Mrs. Salome Streu, age 87, of 3003 School St., Two Rivers, died Sunday
morning, July 2, 1995, at the Hamilton Memorial Home due to Myastheina
Grovts (sic).
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 5,
1995, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Paul Schumacher
will officiate with burial at the Pioneer Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers.
She was born May 13, 1908, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Peter and
Ricca Krajcek Becker. She attended St. Luke's Parochial School,
Washington High School and the Manitowoc County Normal School. On April
23, 1932, she married Albert Streu, in Two Rivers.
Survivors include her husand, Albert; two sons and daughters-in-law,
Robert and Shirley Streu, Alamo, Texas, E.J. and Rhonda Streu, Two
Rivers; one daughter, Madelin Streu, Minneapolis; five grandchildren,
John and Jay Streu, Two Rivers, Lynne Riley, Charlotte, N.C., Lisa
Lehmann, Houston, Texas, Lori El-Far, Dallas, Texas; seven
great-grandchildren and several nieces. She was preceded in death by a
daughter.
Friends may call at the Deja and Martin Funeral Chapel from 4-6 p.m.
Tuesday, July 4th, 1995. There will be a prayer service at 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday led by Father Paul.
