Obituary - Violet Walker Hulet, 90, died November 4, 1990 in Cedar City, Utah.
Born January 18, 1900 to William V. and Jannett Fife Walker, in Cedar City, Utah. She was raised in Cedar City, and attended the B.A.C. She married Oscar J. Hulet, May 19, 1921 in the St. George LDS Temple. Oscar preceded her in death June 20, 1990.
She was very active in the LDS Church. She loved doing temple work and was 100% visiting teacher at the time of her death. She had served in many teaching and leadership positions, she was ward Relief Society President for over ten years and Parowan Stake Relief Society President. She was a loving and compassionate woman to everyone in the community and found so much joy in having her children and grandchildren close around her.
She is survived by four children, Mrs. Leonard (Dorothy) Mickelson, Powell, Wyoming; O. Kent, Cedar City; Carlisle W. and Mrs. Carl (Marjorie) Evans, both of Summit; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; sister, Alice Matheson, Parowan. Preceded in death by a grandson, Bruce Mickelson.
Funeral Services Friday, November 9, 11 a.m., Summit LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Southern Utah Mortuary, Thursday evening, 7-9 p.m. and Friday, 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the Summit Chapel. Interment: Summit Cemetery.
