Isaac M. Watters of Orbisonia died at the Huntingdon County Home for the Aged at Shirleysburg on Tuesday, July 2, 1963 at 5:45 p.m. He had been seriously ill for the past three months. The deceased was born on August 9, 1882 in Tell Township, Huntingdon County, a son of Stephen H. and Elizabeth (Varner) Watters. He was united in marriage to Bessie M. Byers of Orbisonia on April 11, 1908. She preceded him in death on August 28, 1952. Surviving is one foster son, Richard Byers and one sister, Mrs. Mary Ellen Parson of Mount Union. Mr. Watters was a member of the Rockhill Furnace Church of the Brethren. He formerly was engaged in farming in Black Log Valley and had lived in Orbisonia for the past ten hears. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 5 at 2 p.m. in the Ott funeral home in Orbisionia with the Rev. David Emerson, paster of the Rockhill Furnace Church of the Brethren, officiating. Interment will be made in the Salem Cemetery, Tell Township. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 on Wednesday and from 12 noon Thursday until the hour of service on Friday.
