David married Dorleska Cunningham 1 Jul 1856 in Muscatine County, Iowa. The 1860 and 1870 censuses show them living in Fulton Township, Muscatine Co., Iowa. His parents and brother Eugene was living with them on the 1860 census. Their son William was in that census, too, but I don't understand why son David D was not, as David was a year older than William. David D does appear with the family in the 1870 census. The family was in Brooklyn, Poweshiek, Iowa in the 1890 census. By the 1900 Census he and his family were in Pueblo City, Colorado. We know they lived in Leadville, Lake Co., Colorado where son David was with the railroad. David and Dorleska are buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Leadville, although there are no markers.
