Otto Faulman, section foreman on the G.N. Railroad between Rock Island and Malaga, was killed a week ago Saturday night by the second section of passenger train No. 3. He and one of his hands had been in Wenatchee all day. They were nearly across the Columbia River bridge on a hand car when they saw the passenger train almost to them. Faulman's partner jumped but before he could get out of the way, the train struck him and his car, landing him on the rocks below and killing him instantly.
