Mrs. Meri Magnani died in San Francisco Sunday. She Was 76 years old and born in Italy July 29, 1883. She came to the United States 45 years ago and was a resident of Eureka for many years. She had been living in San Francisco for the past 18 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Olga Mead of San Francisco; grandchildren, Ida Grigsby of Concord, Calif., Alva Mozzini of Orland, Calif., Richard Tunzi of Eureka and Raymond Helnore (sp?) of Monterey, and several great grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Rita Tunzi who died in Eureka.
Rosary will be recited tonight, 8:115 p.m., in the Pierce Mortuary. Following brief rites Thursday morning, 9:45 a.m., Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Bernard's Church at 10 a.m.
Pallbearers will be Frank Antongiovanni, O. R. Gianinni, James Nealis, A. J. Franceschi, Charles Grisgby, and Richard Tunzi.
