BARBARA Weigel m. JACOB RUMBAUGH in 1789, in Virginia. He was born Mar 3, 1764, in New Jersey, died in 1848, Lewis County, Missouri.

Barbara Weigel, born Aug 5, 1775, in Berkeley County, Virginia. She was a daughter of George Weigel and Elizabeth Shatten, married Dec 23, 1768, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, at St. James Lutheran Church. They may have resided at Weigeltowns, York County, Pennsylvania before moving Berkeley County, and then to Augusta County, Virginia.

Barbara Weigel Rumbaugh, it is believed to have died in Allen Co Ohio, on 9 May 1862 burial in the Ward Cemetery - Bath twp. In 1860 census she was living with her grandson Samuel Rumbaugh and his wife Rosana Whitehouse.
