June Marie Day, 79, of Karnes City, Texas passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017, in Karnes City, Texas.
June was born on April 15, 1937, to Mary Lee Brown Wagenschein and Garland Richard Wagenschein. She was a wife, sister and aunt who loved people and who loved animals dearly.
Survivors include her brother, Glennis Wagenschein of Nordheim; nieces, Glenna Wagenschein of Humble and Shirley Schneider of Dime Box; one great niece and three great nephews. June is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. A. F. Day, Jr. who passed away in 2009.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2017, at St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Karnes City with burial to follow at Nordheim Cemetery in Nordheim, Texas.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Andrew Gilley, Brandon Gilley, Lewis Massengill Jr, Junior Schneider, and Joseph Cornell.
