Mrs. Willie Leona England Peters, age 63 of Gastonia, North Carolina, formerly of Sparta, Tenn. passed away Monday, February 27, 2017 in Gastonia, N.C. She was born December 5, 1953 in Sparta, Tenn. to the late Sammy and Leona Clouse England. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Eldie England, Hilton England and Sammy Joel England and a sister: Ellen Glenn.
Mrs. Willie was a graduate of Tennessee Tech with a Associates degree in Criminal Justice. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing and painting.
She was a member of the Craig Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include her: Ex-Husband: Larry Peters of Gastonia, N.C.
Sister: Mary Austin of Sparta
Brother: Carl England of Sparta
along with several Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11:00 am Friday, March 3, 2017 in the Chapel of HUNTER FUNERAL HOME with burial in the Taylors Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4pm until 7pm on Thursday Evening. Bro. David Lee England will officiate the services.
