Mary England Austin, 85, died peacefully at the home of her caregiver and grandson, Bart Howard, on August 11, 2021, following a brief illness.
Born in White County, Tennessee, on August 3, 1936, to Sammie Clouse England and Leona Clouse England, she was one of six children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of almost 25 years, Bob Austin; brothers, Eldie, Hilton, Carl; and sisters, Ellen, Willie.
Survivors include her son, Steve Howard; four stepdaughters; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her sisters-in-law, Jane England and Patty England, both of Tennessee.
At her request, there will be no services.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
