Alvin E. Farmer peacefully passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017. Alvin was surrounded by family who recounted wonderful memories and spoke of his dedication to family, friends, church and work.
Alvin was born on August 8, 1928 in Albuquerque, NM.
Alvin was preceded in death by his wife, Donna M. Rideout, mother, Mary Bau, father, William A. Farmer and sister, Nella Hensley.
Alvin is survived by his children, Nancy Walthall, Denise Canard and her husband, Roger, Lynn Carl and her husband, Scott, Kenneth Farmer and his wife, Sara and Jane Farmer, grandchildren, Ceonna Messing, LaSella Walthall, Stephanie Carl and Bryce Patterson and great-grandchild, Skylar Walthall.
Rosary will be recited on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas and Tennessee. Interment will occur at a later date at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests performing a random act of kindness in Alvin's honor.
