Precious and beloved Alta Sofia Wall Ktestes, died Wednesday June 4, 1997 in Salt Lake City, Utah after a valiant struggle with Parkinson disease.
Born February 19, 1928 in Murray, Utah, daughter of Eric and Mimmie Sedell Wall. Married Rulon Dale Carlisle, July 16, 1948. Later divorced. Married Peter S. Ktestes, May 7, 1984.
Survived by her sweetheart husband, Pete; Terry and Erma Carlisle; Rulon Scott (Stormy Joe) Carlisle; Robyn and Dan Yount; stepchildren, Christi Parry, Chris, and Steve Ktestes; grandchildren; loving sisters, Ruby Johnson; Ruth and Don Andrus; Laura Gillespie; Violet and Arvill Smith; and Janet and Rueben (Val) Valenzuela. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Erik; and daughter-in-law, Trula Carlisle.
Thanks to those who cared for her at Cottonwood Hospital and St. Joseph Villa. We cherish her memory.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Friends may call Friday 5-7 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, and Saturday 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Mt Olivet.
