Miss Winifred E. Eyre, 85, of East Toledo passed away Friday, October 20, 2000, in the Arbors of Oregon. Winifred worked for the former St. Regis Paper Company and then for Champion Spark Plug.
She was preceded in death by her parents,William Sr and Emma Richtor Eyre sister,Catherine Hoot ; brothers, Samuel Eyre Sr.,and William Eyre Jr and nephews, Sammy Eyre Jr. and Bobby Kraft. Winifred is survived by sisters, Evelyn(Jack) Best, Thelma Dillon and Betty Startsman; brothers, John (Marilyn) and Alvin (Carol) Eyre, as well as, sister-in-law, Phyllis Goldenetz Eyre. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Monday, October 23, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave., where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
