She was born Sept. 27, 1897, in Lewis County, Kentucky, the daughter of John and Leona Thurman Cooper. She married Sherman Stacy, and he preceded her in death March 3, 1985. She was a member of the Elm Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Gordon Stacy, R.R.7, Greensburg; two daughters, Ruby Louden, Aurora, Ind., and Wilma Slagle, Hamilton, Ohio; eight grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Fletcher Callahan officiated at the services and burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Brookville, Ind.
The family suggests that memorials go to the Elm Grove Baptist Church or the Batesville Life Squad.
The Cook Funeral Home in Brookville, Ind., handled the arrangements.
