Mrs. M. C. Taylor Buried in Albany
Funeral services for Mrs. Sallie McMakin Taylor, are being held this afternoon at the graveside at the Albany cemetery at 1:00 o'clock, with Rev. H. M. Weldon, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. A service was held at Lewisville near Denton, before the body was brought to Albany.
Mrs. Taylor passed away Wednesday at Lewisville, where she made her home with her brother and sister, Charlie McMakin and Miss Carlie McMakin.
Sallie McMakin was born August 30, 1866. She married to M. C. Taylor Sept. 22, 1890, at Bartonville, and in 1902 they moved to Stamford where they lived until December 15, 1907, when they came to Shackelford county.
Survivors are one son, Glen Taylor of Albany: 2 daughters, Mrs. J. L. Baker, Fort Worth, and Mrs. Lee Waller, Edcouch: 2 grandchildren, Lt. Glenn Taylor Jr. , of Flordia, and Muriel Taylor of Albany.
