Funeral for M. C. Taylor, 83, Shackelford county farmer, resident for 32 years. Member of the First Baptist Church.
Taylor died Monday morning at 7:00 from a heart attack. He had been in bad health for 15 years.
He was born May 17, 1856 __________ Kentucky.
Taylor joined the Baptist ________ when a very young man, ______ member of the Wood_____in Albany. He was a ____________loving husband and __________true friend, a devout______ and a good citizen.
He engaged in farming and _____________most of his life.

Letter from F.C. Boles Colonel 39th Infantry

Telling M.C. Taylor that his son Guy Taylor had been killed in action Oct. 6, 1918. Buried with several comrades near where he fell. Grave being marked with a cross to which is fastened the identification tag bearing his name and number.
