Daniel Kensinger, 76, of 124 LaSalle Ave., a Peoria resident for 36 years died Monday at St. Francis Hospital.
Employed by the Peoria Transit Co. during his entire Peoria residence, Mr. Daniel Kensinger was born in Tennessee March 17, 1878. He was a son of Thomas and Anna Kensinger and married Anna M. Gilder Kinsinger at Rock Island July 25, 1944.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, J. C. Kensinger of Rogersville, Tenn., and William Kensinger of Peoria; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Livesay of Rogersville, Tenn.; one sister, Mrs. Matilda Rogers of Bristol, Tenn.; one brother, Robert Kensinger, of Surgoinsville, Tenn., and one stepdaughter, Mrs. Walter Payne of Munster, Ind. One daughter preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at the Cumerford-Endsley Memorial Home. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
