Gloria M. Eyre, 75, of Chillicothe, died 2:40 a.m. Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Heartland of Chillicothe following an extended illness.

She was born December 31, 1941, in Chillicothe to the late Samuel and Mary Copper Blazer.

On September 21, 1957, she married David L. Eyre who preceded her in death November 11, 2002.

Surviving are four children; a very special former daughter-in-law, Chillicothe; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a brother, Chillicothe; two sisters; and a sister-in-law, Chillicothe.

She was predeceased by a son, Larry Eyre; granddaughter, Samantha; brother, Gary Blazer and sisters, Deanna Jane Posey and Joyce Houser.

Gloria retired from Douglas Industries Machine and Fabrication Company.

She formerly worked many years at Harts Dept. Store and was a member of Fruit Hill Church of Christ in Christian Union.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Ware Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery-Frankfort.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Monday at the Ware Funeral Home.
