He was the son of William and Corda Flesher Blazer.
On May 17,1939 he was married to the former Mary Copper who survives.
Also surviving are five daughters,Mrs.Monty(Deanna Jane Posey and Mrs.David(Gloria)Eyre and Mrs.Donald(Joyce)Houser and Mrs.Wilhemina Dutton and Peggy Blazer and two sons Gary E. Blazer and Joseph R.Blazer and 18 grandchildren and a greatgrandson;and a sister Viola Haney.He was predeceased by a sister and two brothers.
