Joseph Arabia

Joseph Arabia, a well-known Italian resident of West Gay Street, died at an advanced age last night at 12:45, following an illness of several weeks. He had been suffering from infirmities of old age for some time. He was a member of St. Agnes' Church, of this place, and was born in Italy, coming to America thirteen years ago. He had lied for some time with his sons here. He leaves two sons, Antonio and A. Ercolia Arabia, businessmen in West Chester, and one daughter who is married and resides in Philadelphia.

ARABIA- In West Chester, on Oct. 7, Joseph, husband of Tressa (sic) Arabia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, Oct. 9, from the residence of his son, Antonio Arabia, 239 W. Gay St. Solemn Requiem Mass at St. Agnes' Church at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Agnes' Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening.
--------
Because he was born in Italy, his first name was probably originally spelled Giuseppe, rather than Guiseppe.
