Life's Work/Service/Interests: She spent her freshman year at the University of Utah and then attended a business school in Portland, Oregon. Ilene and Vernon G. Brady married on April 14, 1949, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They built a beautiful home in the East Mill Creek area and Ilene lived there in contentment until her passing. She was the ultimate caregiver and her concern for others, especially children, was always at the forefront of her mind. She had a deep and abiding love for her family and friends as well as a strong testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She gave many hours of service and shared her many talents with those she cared for. Even in her final hours, her only thought was the well-being of all those around her. She expressed her desire for everyone to continue to love one another and she was assured her wishes would be fulfilled.
